Prague vs. Vienna transport

As I mentioned earlier, I have been to Vienna couple of times past few months. I have to say that one feels a lot better in Vienna streets. I am not sure but I believe that airport transfers in Wien must be a lot more satisfying.

The drivers in Vienna are a lot more easy going than agressive Prague drivers. Airport is similiar distance from the city center as in Prague and the roads are wider. The transportation system and road system seems to be a lot more sophisticated. I trust that we just start to pay the tax for not being bombarded during the wars. Prague seriously needs better road system.

Hopefully opening of the tunnel Blanka and holiday will release some pressure off the streets.

I thought that we will probably higher prices of Prague airport transfers soon. Diesel and petrol are going to increase a lot in next two months, due to holiday travellers and thus higher demand. Traffic is heavier and it takes a lot longer to do a single airport transfer. No matter whether it is Prague airport to the city center or Prague city center to the airport. Due to the traffic it is also more difficult to plan ahead. We used to do 14 - 16 transfers a day per car, now we are happy if we do 10. The last factor, and the most important, is the increasing business competition.
